of the worst droughts in living memory.

At the peak of the drought afflicting the Western Province of Zambia in 2004 and 2005 funds provided by the Alan Kerins African Projects fed over 700 families in the region. Since the drought has subsided the aim of the charity has been to promote and fund more sustainable solutions. |

We believe that the only long-term solution, that can break the seemingly endless cycle of poverty, lies in education. Currently we are in the process of building one school for the orphans of Kyomo and it is the intention to fund many more such projects.
