African Projects

Water Schemes

When Alan first travelled to Zambia in February 2005 the Western Province was enduring one of the worst droughts in living memory.

Food Aid

At the peak of the drought afflicting the Western Province of Zambia in 2004 and 2005 funds provided by the Alan Kerins African Projects fed over 700 families in the region.  Since the drought has subsided the aim of the charity has been to promote and fund more sustainable solutions.

School Building

Whether it is the teaching of modern, effective and sustainable farming techniques or the teaching of reading and writing to local children, education is central to the goals of the Alan Kerins African Projects.
